With L’Atelier Francais des Matières, Investi was delighted to have access to the best ingredients that nature has to offer, to nurture the excellence of the greatest cuisines, wines, or exceptional spirits... The same is true of Haute Parfumerie, and we are always in search of the rarest natural jewels for our creations. A unique palette thus serves the best contemporary noses. 

 

 

A unique internal label, marked ‘Grand Cru’. 

The natural extracts producers are actively involved at the Lab, the excellence of the ingredients is treated as a jewel in the perfume formulation, to such an extent that an in house ‘Grand Cru’ label has been set up for these outstanding qualities: as you may know, ‘Grand Cru’ is the French and internationally known terminology for ‘great wine exceptional vintage’.

The Investi formulas have been created exclusively using our partner’s unique palette of ingredients, which comprises natural extracts sourced from more than 30 countries, among which 35 are exclusive and labelled ‘Grand Cru’. This in house label has the following features:

  • an expert sourcing to identify non-standard and unique vintage crops all over the world, which are “in some cases” exclusively grown and harvested for L’Atelier Français des Matières and Investi, by families of farmers and cooperatives. 
  • some other natural ingredients are designed and produced in-house, by our R&D Team, using our innovative extraction technology optimized with ultrasounds, and 100% meeting the principles of green chemistry. Our state- of-the-art plant extraction equipment allows us to develop for you what something not yet in existence: we develop tailor-made natural ingredients through active research, respectful of the environment and the principles of green chemistry.

Jean-Philippe Paris, Scientific Director and associate of L’Atelier Français des Matières: Our absolutes are eco-designed, we use new generation organic solvents, coupled with ultrasound technology, to extract more finely and at a very low temperature, preserving the bouquet of the plant.
